Winterhaven

Last night we went to Winterhaven with some great friends. It was a beautiful night and that little neighborhood never ceases to impress me!I sincerely love Peter's friends. They crack me up and there is never a dull moment with them.
And of course I'm obsessed with my own friends! Liz, Kristin and me:) (or I..whatever it is)
Next year we will have a one year old to take with us and show her the pretty lights!

Nevaeh's Nursery

We absolutely cannot wait for our little bundle to arrive! Sometimes it feels like it's a just a dream and there is no baby on her way. But all I have to do is look down and see the huge bump on my belly. She is real! And she kicks too, so I know she is in there! We are all ready for her. I wish I would have taken a picture of this room a month before we started on the nursery. It was a disaster! It was Peter's "workshop" room and his art studio. There was a florescent work lamp hanging by chains from the ceiling. Two rolling tool boxes. Canvas and paint stacked a mile high. It was a mess and I often thought there was no way we could transform it. But who was I kidding, the same man who created this "workshop/shed" feeling could most definitely create a sweet nursery/baby feeling. And that is what he did. He painted three of the walls the most perfect pink and the other two walls lime green stripes. These pictures make it look a little dark but it just turned out wonderfully. I should've known Peter would pull this together! Now we are just waiting for her little precious body to arrive so we can hold her and love and know her and "get her", as Peter likes to say!
